Copenhagen in Three Days
Three days is the ideal length for a first visit: you'll see the major highlights, take time for museums and neighbourhoods, and have room on the third day for design, harbour life or a day trip. All times are approximate.
Days 1 and 2 – the Classic Route
The first two days follow the tried-and-tested plan: royal highlights with Nyhavn, Amalienborg, Rosenborg and Tivoli, then Slotsholmen, Christianshavn and Christiania.
Day 3 – Design and Harbour
The third day belongs to design: the Designmuseum Danmark and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, followed by street food on Refshaleøen. Prefer to get out of town? Head to Louisiana, Kronborg or Malmö.
