A weekend in Copenhagen
Two days are enough to enjoy the highlights of Copenhagen at a relaxed pace. This route splits the city sensibly: first the royal centre with Tivoli, then the canals of Christianshavn with Christiania and the big museums. All times are approximate.
Day 1 – Royal Copenhagen
From Nyhavn it's on to Amalienborg and past Kastellet to The Little Mermaid. In the afternoon, Rosenborg beckons with the crown jewels, and the evening belongs to Tivoli.
Day 2 – Canals and culture
Start on Slotsholmen with Christiansborg and the National Museum of Denmark, then head to Christianshavn: the tower of the Church of Our Saviour, a stroll through Christiania and a relaxed finish by the water.
